These past few days were one for the books. Not only did this weekend start off the summer but it was also my first 4-day weekend since Thanksgiving. So yes I enjoyed myself, maybe a little too much.
After a non-stop 3-day drinking binge, my Memorial Day consisted of me
laying in bed until dinner time. My hangover was possibly the worst I've ever experienced. Finally a Monday off, and it felt like a punishment. Well deserved I may say, since I know better than to drink many raspberry LITs as if the sweetness of them wouldn't effect me.
The thoughts that went through my head yesterday
ranged from what should I eat or do I have to vomit? During this time, I
realized so many things go through my head during my hangover days. So what comes to my mind may seem a little crazy, yet some will find it very normal....
1. Am I dying?
2. Why is the world so damn Bright?
3. I need to wait until the next morning to Instagram pictures.
4. Did I look cute while I was dancing last night?
5. I'm too old to feel like this.
6. Why was I drinking anything that was put in front of me?
7. I should have stayed in and drank a bottle of wine.
8. Not taking Advil before I went to bed was a mistake.
9. Why is my mom talking so damn loud?
10. Water is the best thing that's ever happened to me.
11. I need Chinese food NOW.
12. Ew my hair smells like an ashtray.
13. I promised myself I wouldn't drunk eat!
14. I'm never drinking like that again.
15. Am I ever going to not be tired?
16. Did I smell this bad yesterday?
17. A fountain soda will make everything better.

Why It Is Better To Have More Than One Best Friend...
What's better than having your best friend's closet to share clothes from? .....
Having four best friend's closets to share clothes from :)
Growing up we were taught that everyone has one best friend and having multiple best friends was weird. Now it may be this era, or maybe it's my age group but having more than one best friend has turned into a trend. More than likely most people will agree more personalities, more fun.
So now that I'm not in middle school, I am not forced to save the first page in my yearbook for my "best friend" or asked during 4th period lunch "which friend is your favorite?". I am lucky because having a group of girls I consider family is better than having that one BFF. What if that one BFF is busy and you need emergency advice, or just need someone to grab a drink with. Multiple friends, multiple options.
It is a treat to have a group of friends to celebrate your birthdays and special occasions with. Sushi dinners, followed by wine nights. The more the merrier, and when I say merrier, I mean it for the following reasons:
1. The group chat. As much as you hate getting seeing 45 text messages after not looking at your phone for 15 minutes, you love them. Because you would feel left out if you weren't in them.
2. Going out together. You not only have a better time when you are all together, but you even look better when you're together.
3. Pictures. The never ending selfies.
4. Peer Pressure. If two people wants to do stupid things, the others always get peer pressured into a fun time...
5. The love. Having more than one person care so much about you is truly a special feeling.
6. Epic Dance Parties. Self explanatory. You can't have a dance party with two people.
8. The wardrobes. Sharing friends are caring friends, oh and they share even when they don't want to.
9. Future planning. Having your bridesmaids already picked out.
10. The Friendship. Finding your soulmates for life.

12 Things I Miss About Living At College
I started to miss college the moment I stepped foot into graduation. The hardest part about the "college after life" was moving back home. I knew that I would have some trouble adapting to a totally different lifestyle because I grew up hating change. Although the transition was tough, when you're offered an opportunity to make enough money to help your future you learn to accept the change in a positive way. So when college ended I stayed as positive as possible and began what felt like, a new life.
It's no surprise that living home is extremely different than my days living at college. Of course there are those few perks of being home, like the refrigerator always being full and not having to buy toilet paper but sometimes the things I miss from college outweigh everything else.
Of course I don't miss the cafeteria food, or the unnecessary group projects. Or those mornings I would wake up still drunk from the night before screaming, "I'm slowly dying". However, having five closets to choose an outfit from was amazing and sharing a room with my best friend was even more amazing. I got extremely lucky with not one, but five awesome roommates I wouldn't trade for the world. They were the reason I enjoyed college so much.
Nobody gave me the heads up I would blink twice and college would be over, but that was something I didn't need to be told. One of the most important lessons I've learned through out life was nothing lasts forever. I knew it would come to and end so I made the best of it. Unfortunately, attending a community college for two years before I went away put a shorter time on my experience but that made those two years away even more special.
So as I lay in bed at night and read the constant "finals week sucks" tweets, I can't help but reminisce what I miss about being away:

So as I lay in bed at night and read the constant "finals week sucks" tweets, I can't help but reminisce what I miss about being away:
1. The morning after. Waking up hungover in your roommates bed with her and then reminiscing what each of you remember went down last night.
2. Friends. Friends everywhere. In your dorm, down the hall, out by the quads. You were constantly surrounded by people the same age as you.
3. Sleeping past noon during the week. Because any sane person made their class schedule in the afternoon or at night.
4. Thirsty Thursdays. No matter if you had a class Friday, Thursday was always the best night to go out. Going out on a Thursday also turned your weekends into 3 days.
5. Winter break, spring break, summer break. Oh and being able to take a break whenever the hell you wanted too.
6. Drunk eats. Never having to eat Ramen Noddles alone drunk in the middle of the night.
7. Never being alone. Whether you are hungry and need someone to grab food with, or just want someone to do stupid shit with, there was always a roommate around.
8. The closets. Wearing a new outfit fofree (as long there were no tags on it).
9. Being poor. It was acceptable to be poor because your roommates were too. So you would shop smart and spend your money on boxes of Franzia.
10. Instagraming. Selfies together are better than selfies alone. Plus someone was always around to help decide on an Instagram filter... and caption.
11. The pregame. Drinking alone is just about as boring as getting ready alone.
12. Having a bad day, but coming home and seeing your roommates as you walked in the door made everything better.

Your Best Friends Birthday
It comes to no surprise a girls best friends birthday is just as special as her own. There is much thought that must go into the planning of the day, gifts, and celebrations. That is why each year gets more and more special because each year is another year celebrated not only the birthday part but the part where she is in her life at that moment.
This year I celebrated my 8th birthday with my best friend Taryn and I get just as excited as her on her birthdays. There are a few aspects that go into the planning to make sure your best friend has the best birthday she deserves…
1. The decorations. Streamers, balloons, and even fancy straws are all necessary. The more decorations, the more special she feels.
2. The morning. Make sure you are with her when she wakes up. Waking up on your birthday is just as exciting as waking up on Christmas (gifts), be there with open arms & mimosas.
3. Do what she wants. If she wants to leave the club early to get food, you leave. Whatever she says, goes.
4. Age is just a number. Remind her she's not getting older every year, she's getting hotter.
5. The gift. One part of the gift should always be sentimental. The candy and alcohol is always a must, but making her smile when she opens a great gift the best part.
6. The pictures. Take a trillion because you'll end up only liking 1 when you look at them sober the next day. #Memories
