23 Regrets You Do Not Want To Have When You're Older

The saying "I ain't getting any younger" may be one of the realest statements you will ever hear in your life.

It's beyond true, you're growing and although the future seems long and bright, sometimes you need to take a step back and ask yourself, "Am I doing this life thing right?"

I've learned to understand that mistakes are only lessons (unless you make the same mistake more than once). It's okay to put yourself on a pedestal once and awhile. Understand you aren't always right, and appreciate the moments you endure. Be proud of your accomplishments, and love the people who you surround yourself with before it's too late.

You don't want to be that person that is constantly living their life saying "If only...." and "I wish...". It does not feel good to regret things you have done, especially when it's too late. Don't ever look back, literally.

So here's a list of things I hope to not regret when I'm older...

1. Not exercising and eating healthy

2. Not taking advantage of paid vacation days by traveling

3. Being obsessed with your cellphone

4. Fighting with your siblings

5. Appreciating a dollar

6. Not expressing your emotions

7. Sleeping until noon and not appreciating early mornings

8. Not taking an excessive amount of photos for the memories

9. Not deactivating your Facebook

10. Being cheap

11. Not having enough sex

12. Not appreciating your elders and the advice they can give

13. Blaming others for your mistakes

14. Not taking care of your appearance

15. Staying in a toxic relationship

16. Having your parents pay for things you should be paying for

17. Taking risks

18. Holding grudges

19. Not helping your mom while she cooks so you can learn

20. Not getting a college degree

21. Worrying about things that you are not in control of

22. Surrounding yourself with people that put you down

23. Not saying "I love you" enough to the people that deserve to hear it

Friday's At Work

52 weeks in a year, and it’s no surprise that Friday is the best day of the week. My attitude on Fridays is reasonably different, I mean who's isn’t?

You have now made it through the five day work week and you'll most likely be excessively drinking the next few days. No wonder why everyone loves Fridays.

Friday = Happiness

Especially “Summer Fridays”. Although it is still an eight hour work day, it isn't like those other lame eight hour work days from Monday through Thursday.

Your morning starts off by actually getting out of bed when your alarm goes off, and not having to snooze it for twenty minutes straight. Then you find yourself actually singing along to the radio at seven in the morning. You become typically different. You're not ignoring your co-workers, instead you're greeting them with a “Happy Friday”. Deadlines, budgets, and work suddenly escapes your mind, and the only thing you're stressing about is what you're wearing out tonight.

It's nice to come into work at least one day a week in a good mood, and that’s why God invented Fridays.

Also for these few reasons:

Everyone at work is in a great mood.

You get ready exceptionally quick in the morning that you even have time to stop for Dunkin.

You're group chat is filled with fun ideas for the weekend.

It's the only day of the week you'll ever hear your boss say, "You can leave early today."

Party doesn't stop until you pass out on Sunday Funday.

Even though it's a regular day of the week, we treat it like a holiday.

You don't have to set an alarm the next two days.

You're excitement is unbearable once 5pm hits!

Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!!
